Instructional Design & EdTech
- ADDIE Model
- A five-phase instructional design framework — Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate — used to create structured, effective learning experiences. Learn about Instructional Design Services →
- SAM (Successive Approximation Model)
- An agile, iterative instructional design model that builds and refines learning content through repeated short cycles of prototyping and feedback, as an alternative to the linear ADDIE model.
- Bloom's Taxonomy
- A hierarchical framework for classifying learning objectives by cognitive complexity — from remembering and understanding to applying, analyzing, evaluating, and creating.
- Outcome-Based Education (OBE)
- An educational approach where curriculum, teaching, and assessment are designed around clearly defined learning outcomes that students must demonstrate by the end of a course or program. Learn about Curriculum Development →
- CLO / MLO Mapping
- The process of aligning Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) with Module Learning Outcomes (MLOs) to ensure every part of a curriculum contributes measurably to overall program outcomes.
- Open Distance Learning (ODL)
- An educational delivery model where instructors and learners are separated by distance and time, supported by structured course materials, technology platforms, and limited or no in-person contact.
- Learning Experience Design (LXD)
- A learner-centered approach to designing educational content and environments that combines instructional design, UX design, and motivational principles to improve engagement and outcomes.
- Learning Management System (LMS)
- A software platform used to deliver, track, and manage online courses, training content, assessments, and learner progress for educational institutions or organizations. Learn about Educational Services →
- Curriculum Mapping
- The process of documenting and aligning what is taught, when, and how across a program, ensuring consistency between learning objectives, content, and assessments.
- Faculty Development
- Structured training and professional development programs designed to improve teaching staff's pedagogical skills, subject knowledge, and use of educational technology. Learn about MENTISERA Institute →
Artificial Intelligence
- Large Language Model (LLM)
- An AI model trained on vast amounts of text data to understand and generate human language, powering tools like chatbots, content generation, and AI assistants.
- Generative AI
- Artificial intelligence systems capable of creating new content — text, images, code, or audio — based on patterns learned from training data, rather than simply classifying or predicting existing data.
- AI Agent
- An AI system designed to autonomously perform multi-step tasks on a user's behalf — such as researching, drafting, and executing actions — rather than only responding to single prompts.
- Prompt Engineering
- The practice of crafting effective inputs (prompts) to guide AI language models toward producing accurate, relevant, and useful outputs.
- AI Readiness Assessment
- An evaluation of an organization's data, processes, skills, and infrastructure to determine its preparedness for adopting AI tools and workflows. Learn about AI & Cloud Solutions →
- Machine Learning (ML)
- A subset of AI in which systems learn patterns from data to make predictions or decisions, improving performance over time without being explicitly reprogrammed.
Cloud & Productivity
- Software as a Service (SaaS)
- A software delivery model where applications are hosted by a provider and accessed over the internet via subscription, rather than installed and maintained locally.
- Single Sign-On (SSO)
- An authentication method that allows users to log in once and gain access to multiple connected applications without re-entering credentials for each one.
- Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
- A security method requiring users to verify their identity using two or more independent factors — such as a password plus a one-time code — before gaining access.
- Cloud Migration
- The process of moving data, applications, and IT infrastructure from on-premises systems to cloud-based platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud. Learn about AI & Cloud Solutions →
- Workflow Automation
- The use of technology to execute repetitive business processes — such as approvals, notifications, or data routing — with minimal manual intervention.
- eSignature (Electronic Signature)
- A digital method of signing documents that legally represents a person's agreement or approval, used to replace physical wet-ink signatures in business workflows. Learn about Nitro Sign →
- Application Programming Interface (API)
- A defined set of rules that allows two software systems to communicate and exchange data, commonly used to integrate platforms like CRMs, forms, and websites.
Business & CRM
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- A system used to manage an organization's interactions with current and prospective customers, typically covering leads, sales pipelines, communication history, and customer data. Learn about Bitrix24 CRM →
- Sales Pipeline
- A visual representation of where prospective customers are in the sales process, from initial contact through to a closed deal, used to track and forecast sales activity.
- Marketing Automation
- Software-driven processes that automatically execute marketing tasks — such as email campaigns, lead scoring, or audience segmentation — based on predefined triggers and customer behavior. Learn about SendPulse →
- Digital Transformation
- The process of integrating digital technology into all areas of an organization, fundamentally changing how it operates and delivers value to stakeholders. Learn about Digital Integration Strategy →
- Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC)
- A service agreement under which a technology provider delivers ongoing technical support, updates, and maintenance for a system over a defined period, typically one year.
- Document Redaction
- The process of permanently removing sensitive text, images, or metadata from a document before it is shared or published, ensuring confidential information cannot be recovered. Learn about Nitro Redact →
